The Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia has the honor to inform all company directors and managers that, in line with the policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia and the recommendations of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and in response to requests from companies seeking considerations for the waiver of penalty for failure to file annual declaration, the Ministry of Commerce has decided to implement a penalty-waiver policy, subject to the following conditions:
1. Pay the penalty for the annual declaration for the last one year to the Ministry of Commerce within 60 working days from the date of this announcement.
2.Participate in the shareholder background check process to strengthen and support anti-money laundering efforts.
In case a company does not comply with these conditions or fails to make payment within required timeframe, it will be considered as Inactive Company, which may affect its business registration status, and other rights in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
The Ministry of Commerce firmly believes that this policy will strengthen the business environment in the Kingdom ofCambodia and improve the implementation ofcommercial laws and business registration procedures, thereby enhancing their effectiveness and administrative efficiency.
In light of the above, all company directors and managers are kindly requested to acknowledge this information and cooperate in its timely implementation in order to benefit from the penalty waiver and to maintain the legal compliance of their enterprises in the business registry.
