MPTC Notification on the reduction of the duration of public service

Notification on the reduction of the duration of public service not exceeding 8 hours for low-technical services and not exceeding 7 days for high-technical public services.

The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC) would like to inform the public, companies, enterprises, operators, and all stakeholders that, considering that in the past, the provision of services has not yet been able to respond in a timely manner, the waiting period can be from 3 to 15 days for low-technical public services, or 16 to 60 days for high-technical services. On March 13, 2026, the MPTC began piloting the adjustment of procedures and reducing the time for providing public services to be faster and more efficient to meet the actual needs of citizens and business owners in the context of the rapidly developing digital age. Based on successful experience in pilot implementation, the MPTC has decided to expand the scope of procedural adjustments and time reduction for all public services under the MPTC’s jurisdiction, totaling 158 types as follows:

1. Determining a New Period
   The service provision period will commence from the time the application meets all the requirements of each service and is accompanied by sufficient required documents as follows:

• A period not exceeding 8 working hours for the decision to provide public services with low technical specifications.
• A period not exceeding 7 working days for the decision to provide for high-level technical public services.
