Chinese and Japanese investors are flocking to buy land in the area along the National Road 1

The land is located along the National Road No.1 with interested investors flocked to buy from China and Japan.

According to an excerpt from the Phnom Penh Post News, CEO Century21 Mekong, said the Chinese investors and the Japanese have been collaborating with domestic investment, purchasing, land along the road, and because of this road is a crossing point of delivery of goods and trade in the future.

According to Mr. Nuon Rithy CEO of Khmer Appraisal Foundation real estate, said that from the Monivong Bridge Borey Peng Hout land next to Road 1 worth between $ 1500 to $ 2500 per square meter. And from Borey Peng Hout to Tiger brewery street valued between $ 800 and $ 1,200 per square meter. Land from the Tiger brewery street to  Koki market worth US $ 350 to 500 per square meter. Koki market to Neak Loeung worth between $ 50 to $ 150 per square meter.


Road No. 1, or Asean High Way1 (AH1) is a main road linking the corridors of the country toward Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City via Phnom Penh, Kandal, Prey Veng and Svay Rieng.
