The workshop was presided over by Commerce Secretary of State H.E. TEKRETH Kamrang, attended by key officials of line-ministries, representatives of GIZ, Euro-Cham, and development partners who have being working in the area of health and tourism sectors in Cambodia.

On the occasion, the Secretary of State cited the importance of trade in services, including business, construction, education, finance, health, and tourism for the growth and development. She hoped that the today’s consultative workshop would bring more productive dialogue, cooperation, initiatives and strategies which could be used to identify and prioritize all barriers to trade in services in Cambodia as well as to develop national policies to promote Cambodia’s trade development.

It is noted that ASEAN-German Cooperation Project “Support to the IAI” is being implemented by GIZ since August 2015 to support Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) in promoting health services and mobility of skilled labour.
